Canon announced their new Canon COMPACT-SERVO 18-80mm T4.4 EF-mount lens earlier this year, and it now available for pre-order. It has a great zoom range, and an attractive price tag of around $5,000.
This versatile and useful lens from Canon is meant to fill a needed gap in their product line, and is suitable for documentary use on large sensor cameras. In addition to the lens is the Canon ZSG-C10 Zoom Grip for COMPACT-SERVO Lens which adds ENG-style operation to the lens.
