Sony FR7 – Cinema Quality 4K Video in a PTZ Package
Sony has always been known for its cutting-edge technology. Their new PTZ camera is no exception to this. The FR7 is a 4K, 120 Full-Frame PTZ camera. There are other 4K PTZ cameras on the market but none that are 4K certified by Netflix. Other features that set this camera apart are the ability to swap lenses that are E-mount compatible to help you dial in the perfect shot. Built in ND filters gives you the option to compensate for exposure changes without affecting depth of field.
Control the Sony PTZ with IR, IP control panel, and a web application. The reliable and smooth PTZ motor will provide stunning performance while capturing panning shots. The FR7 can output 4K video using HDMI and up to 12G-SDI for SDI Raw recording. You can also stream to your preferred platforms via RTSP, SRT, or NDI|HX using the cameras LAN Port.
Use this camera almost anywhere with the multiple mounting options. You can mount the camera on a tripod or riser using 1/4” -20 threads or use the optional mount to attach the Sony FR7 to the ceiling. Get the most out of your FR7 by attaching your favorite camera accessories with the standard 15mm rod mounts.
