Aputure/Amaran

As always Aputure amazes us with their innovative and affordable options. Last year at NAB 2022 they wowed us with a full RGBWW version of the Lightstorm 600 light. This year they announced COB RGBWW lights in the Amaran line. Amaran is Aputure’s prosumer division. The new lights are the 150c and 300c, offering middle range power and full control over the color of the light at a very attractive price. Both models have started shipping and are $359.00 for the 150c and $569.00 for the 300c. These new lights are fully compatible with any of Aputure’s Bowens mount lighting accessories, including a brand new Bowens mount spotlight that is smaller and lighter than the existing Spotlight Mount products.

We also got a good look at the recently announced Aputure Infinibar system. Coming in 1′, 2′, and 4′ lengths the Infinibars are configurable in linear or geometric shapes for many different applications. Full RGBWW and individual pixel control means you can use these lights for an almost endless list of uses.

Additionally, there are rumors that we are going to get even more announcements from Aputure at this years Cinnegear Expo happening in Los Angeles June 1st through 4th.
