Come See an All Blackmagic Studio System Demonstration

Last year Blackmagic Design disrupted the studio and broadcast world with the introduction of the URSA Broadcast, an affordable camera body capable of 4k video capture using traditional 2/3″ ENG lenses. To get the same capability from any other manufacturer would cost nearly 10 times as much. And the majority of HD studio and ENG cameras are several times more expensive as well.

Blackmagic Design also offers a full suite of studio production gear from switchers to routers to camera control panels with better than competitive pricing.

Z Systems has set up a demo studio in our shop for everyone to see the cameras and other components all working together. We have 3 URSA Broadcast cameras with different Fujinon lenses, and Alan Tanielian from Fujinon will be here for the open house with his expert knowledge of professional broadcast lenses, and will be bringing a long lens to demonstrate for those really long IMAG situations.  One of the cameras is also configured with the optional Camera Fiber Converter for power, control, and two-way communication through a single cable from the Studio Fiber Converter. We also have an ATEM Television Studio Pro 4k switcher and ATEM Camera Control Panel so you can see some of the different studio options from Blackmagic.

We will be having an initial kickoff open house at Z Systems on Wednesday October 2nd from 11 am to 2 pm, with light refreshments and staff available to walk you through the system and answer questions about how Blackmagic products can fit your needs for studio and field productions.

We will have the studio set up for the next several months in case you are unable to make the open house, we just ask that you call before stopping by to make sure that someone is available to show you how it all works.
