Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church
“Everyone at Z Systems was super responsive regarding any questions I had. Above and Beyond” – Jason Millard,
A/V Production Manager at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church
Problem
Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church serves 15,000 members and is considered one the largest Lutheran congregations in the nation. Just south of Lake Harriet is their beautiful Minneapolis campus. With some 2,000 people arriving for their Sunday services, Mt. Olivet was running into issues. On certain days, their streaming audience was larger than their in-person assembly. They decided that they needed to upgrade their streaming system to ensure a quality message was heard in-person and over the web.

Solution
Z Systems installed a Tricaster video production system. A TC-1 switcher combined with a TC1SP control panel gives operators a flexible and powerful video system. 5 Canon PTZ cameras are wall-mounted throughout the space to give a phenomenal picture of the sanctuary and choir loft. With a Canon touch screen PTZ controller, an operator in the back of the space is able to adjust the frame with ease.

Aftermath
Mt. Olivet has put this system to the test, using it 2-3 times a week for Sunday services, weddings, funerals, and more. Since it was installed in 2021, it’s been incredibly stable and has helped Mt. Olivet share their message. It’s been seamlessly integrated with their audio setup and allows for a great broadcast to be shared.

Fellowship Hall
Z Systems also assisted in hauling over their fellowship hall in their Minneapolis and Victoria campus’. They needed an easy-to-use A/V system that allows users to turn up or down audio sources and present media to a variety of TVs and projector screens. Z Systems opted to use an Atlona control system to control audio and video. HDMI wall plates and Clickshares allow users to present their content, and Atlona wall panels make it easy for users to tap the source they want and get it on the screens in no time. Symetrix processors handle the multiple audio inputs and is adjusted via the touchscreen wall panel.
