amaran COB 60x S Bi-Color LED Monolight

amaran expands its LED monolight line with the S-series COB 60x S Bi-Color LED Monolight, adopting the quality of light and the compact and lightweight form of the previous COB 60x. Featuring an upgraded LED chipset design, this 65W fixture provides a variable 2700-6500K color temperature and ultra-high SSI score across the board for extremely accurate and improved color reproduction. This point-source video light has a surprising output of 33,300 lux at 3.3′ when paired with the included mini hyper reflector. A variety of nine lighting effects are easily accessible to help you simulate different creative looks. This is a practical lighting solution for content creators and videographers looking for a portable and quiet light without sacrificing image quality.

Adjustments can be made locally on the unit with an intuitive LCD screen or wirelessly from a distance of up to 262′ using your smartphone and the Sidus Link app. The 60x S offers extended power options and is ready for worldwide use thanks to its included 100 to 240 VAC power supply, but it can also run on separately available NP-F or D-Tap batteries for situations when AC current is unavailable. Equipped with a full-size Bowens mount and a stand adapter with an umbrella holder, you get great compatibility with a wide array of light modifiers. A carry bag is supplied as well for storage and on-the-go productions.

Detailed Color Fidelity System

The S series has improved spectral continuity to achieve the enhanced color quality of an ultra-high SSI (Tungsten) of 90 and (D56) of 87, a 17.5% increase in SSI from its predecessor. Impressive ratings of CRI 96, TLCI 97, CQS 95, TM-30 Rf 96, and TM-30 Rg 100 are your assurance of a high degree of accuracy in color reproduction at all times. Suitable for home studios or live stream setups, the significantly improved spectral quality of the 60x S will ensure accurate skin tone reproduction for your videos.

Powerful Output with Mini Hyper Reflector

The 60x S emits up to 2427 lux at a distance of 3.3′ at 5600K. When equipped with the included mini hyper reflector, the light’s output climbs to an impressive 33,300 lux. A soft diffusion cover is included for use with the reflector.

The light has nine special effects, including paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulse, strobe, explosion, and fire.

The PT4c RGB LED Pixel Tube Light from amaran is a 4′ long RGBWW LED pixel tube made for image makers who want more unique lighting options and effects in product cinematography. The high-efficiency chipset produces stellar color quality and accurate skin tones throughout its CCT range of 2700 to 10,000K with full green-magenta control, achieving high CRI, TLCI, and SSI values across the board. The design features 16 built-in pixels that can be independently adjusted and assigned an HIS value via the integrated controls or remotely using the Sidus Link app for Bluetooth devices. The PT4c can also be controlled by DMX using the separately available USB-C to DMX Adapter.

Compact and versatile, the Aputure MT Pro RGB LED Tube Light is a 1′ full-color LED tube light that is well-suited for in-camera practical effects and hiding in small spaces. This small light features the same RGBWW LED technology and wireless connectivity via DMX or Bluetooth as other professional Aputure fixtures. The MT Pro comes with built-in special effects and pixel-chase sequences.

Advanced Color Quality

Packed in this 1′ tube are 36 individual RGBWW LED pixels that are individually mappable to create dynamic chases or to precisely match atmospheric lighting. These pixels are highly responsive and enable smooth color transitions at high speeds. The tube boasts stepless dimming from 0-100% and fully attunable green/magenta balance. Natural whites are adjusted using a CCT mode while a vibrant spectrum of colors is controlled by industry standard X/Y, RGB, or HSI protocols. A high degree of adjustability allows the MT Pro to reproduce more than 90% of colors within Rec. 2020 color space with an up to SSI 84 color rating.

Flexibility Features

Bluetooth connectivity via the Sidus Link app allows one to take full advantage of both the MT Pro’s host of lighting control features and its low-profile form factor. This wireless connectivity option is invaluable for adding quick accents when shooting on location while also providing a platform for the tube light to interface with the rest of the products within the Aputure and amaran lighting ecosystems. For those that prefer more traditional control methods, a built-in LumenRadio CRMX transmitter networks the MT Pro with any standard lighting control system. For wired DMX connections, a USB-C to 5-Pin XLR adapter is available separately.The MT Pro is easily rigged using either one of its three mounting options. Built-in magnets on the rear of the unit make setting this light a clean and safe process regardless of the environment. When it needs to be affixed to C-stands and other grip equipment, the tube accepts 1/4″-20 studs in threads located on the bottom and side of the fixture. Aputure has included a small ball-head tripod to use the MT Pro as a quick full color practical light or as a key light for tabletop shooting. The built-in battery supports up to 120 minutes of illumination at full power and charges quickly via a USB-C connection.
