]]> Core SWX Nano-U98X 14.8V Battery with D-Tap for Select Sony Camcorders

The Nano-U98X 14.8V Battery from Core SWX is designed for use with the FS and FX series of cameras and other select Sony PMW/PXW cameras. This clever solution provides a 12V D-Tap port often found in larger pro-style Gold or V-mount batteries, but in the smaller form of the original battery type. They are equipped with a 4-stage LED gauge, P-tap, and USB-C port. The D-Tap is a smart port with the ability to transmit SMBUS battery data. The P-Tap is a Smart Tap that is able to carry SMBUS/smart battery data which is a featured part of future integration. This power tap will serve as a standard power tap without need of special cabling. One 5V, 3A USB port is also provided for powering compatible accessories.

The Nano-M series addresses the need for a more “pro” style option of power for Small Form Cine cameras. Features of the Nano-U98 include a push button, four-LED power gauge, and compatibility with OEM battery chargers. When fully charged, this battery has an average runtime of 8 hours based on the draw of a Sony FS5.

These packs charge on OEM Sony chargers.
