Shure SCM262 Stereo Microphone Mixer

**Note: Open Box, but new unit. Perfect condition.

The Shure SCM262 Stereo Microphone Mixer resembles a field mixer, but is in fact a compact mixer intended for sound reinforcement. The mixer features 2 balanced XLR microphone inputs, a 1/4″ Phone line input, and 3 RCA phono line level inputs. There are stereo 1/4″ phone and stereo RCA jacks on the output stage as well.

The SCM262’s multi-function DIP switches allow the user to customize the mixer for use in a variety of applications. Some of the functions include “Juke Box Muting” and “Paging with Ducking”. The “Juke Box Mute” feature mutes background audio signal when a connected juke box is active. The SCM268 also features “paging with ducking”. This allows the SCM268 to be used as a paging mixer. Background audio level is automatically reduced when paging microphones are active.

Quality Inputs and Outputs

There are 2 balanced XLR Mic inputs and a 1/4″ Phone line input. Balanced stereo (L/R) 1/4″ TRS Phone outputs are also featured for maximum gain and low noise floor.

Multi Function Dip Switches

The SCM262 features multi function DIP switches allowing the user to customize the mixer for use in a variety of applications. Some of the functions include “Juke Box Muting” and “Paging with Ducking”.

Paging With Ducking

This feature allows the SCM262 to be used as a paging mixer. Signal from the paging microphone is passed while simultaneously reducing the level of background music. Perfect for restaurants, bars, schools office settings etc.

Juke Box Mute Feature

The Juke Box Mute feature allows the SCM262 to integrate perfectly with external Juke Boxes. Signal from a Juke Box automatically mutes existing (background) audio. Those inputs remain muted for 30 seconds after the song has ended so that the following song can play without interruption.

Stereo Line Inputs

There are three RCA stereo inputs (L/R) for interfacing with consumer audio devices such as Stereo Systems, CD Players VCR’s etc.

The compact rugged enclosure allows users to transport the SCM262 with confidence.

The Allen & Heath SQ-5 is a 48-channel, 36-bus digital mixing console well suited for live sound, corporate A/V, recording studios, and houses of worship. The SQ-5 features 16+1 motorized faders and 16 professional-quality microphone preamps. There are also eight stereo FX engines with dedicated return channels and access to the RackExtra FX library. The mixer’s 12 stereo outputs (configurable as groups or auxes) are well suited for in-ear-monitor setups, while the Auto Mic Mixing function offers quick and easy operation over multiple microphones for conferences, panel talks, and more.

At the heart of the SQ-5 lies the 96 kHz XCVI Core FPGA engine, which delivers professional, high-resolution audio quality, ultra-low latency (less than 0.7 ms), variable bit depth for precision and noise performance, mix coherency down to the sample, and the power to handle high channel / mix counts and ample FX processing. The SQ’s DEEP processing architecture allows you to hand-pick boutique compressor and preamp emulations and embed them directly within the mixer’s inputs and mix channels, all without adding system latency or setup hassles.

The front panel is centered around the mixer’s 7″ capacitive touchscreen and framed by an array of high-grip, illuminated encoders, which offer clear visual feedback and quick, hands-on control. You can drag-and-drop channels and mixes to any strip with custom naming and color coding on the strip display, allowing you to build a mix environment that mirrors your workflow. The SQ-5 offers softkeys, which can be freely assigned to any function for a customized and advanced workflow. The on-board recorder uses a USB Type-A port to record stereo and multitrack sessions to a flash drive. The recorder can also playback stereo and multitrack files, making it well suited for virtual sound checks and studio mixing.

Roland V-1HD Portable 4 x HDMI Input Switcher

Roland’s V-1HD 4 x HDMI Input Switcher is a portable solution for HD video production that accommodates up to four HD inputs. The inputs each have a frame buffer/TBC so that you don’t need to Genlock your input sources together. You can control the switcher manually by using the built-in controls or connect it to a computer or iPad running optional software for electronic control. Select your working resolution and switch between your four input sources. Built into the switcher is a 12-channel audio mixer, which can de-embed and embed audio signals from HDMI.

The integrated T-fader allows you to manually control the speed of transitions, or you can use the take button to actuate your selected transition. The unit features a program and multi-view preview output as well as an analog audio input and output. Though small in size, it allows you to perform picture-in-picture, green-screen, and other keying effects, and a transform control enables advanced video effects on your footage.

HD Switcher

This portable HD switcher supports four inputs of HD video, allowing you to select 1080i, 1080p, or 720p as your input source. Each input incorporates a frame buffer/TBC that allows you to use non-genlocked cameras, as well as play-out devices as video sources. You select the broadcast system (59.94/50 Hz) within the menu. The format selector switch is a global switch that affects the input and output format. However, with the switch in either of the 1080 options, the V-1HD enables input of both 1080i and 1080p signals.

Audio Mixer

The built-in 12-channel audio mixer allows you to de-embed audio from the HDMI stream, mix, and re-embed the audio into your output stream. The audio mixer is accessed by a connected PC running the available software.

Output Modes

The V-1HD features two HDMI outputs—one output always shows your switched program output, while the other (preview) can be switched between program output and multiview of your four sources.

This compact, rack-mountable 6-Channel HD Video Switcher from Roland can switch between 3G-SDI, HDMI, and RGB sources along with two still images stored in the internal memory. The auto-mixing function automatically balances incoming audio sources such as microphones from a discussion panel, making it easy for the operator.
