Blackmagic Design takes it up another notch with the new Pocket Cinema Camera 6K PRO. The camera features the same great sensor as the original, and boasts a huge number of new features that will really make it a favorite among shooters.
The body on this camera is slightly larger than previous models, without becoming too big for fast handheld operation. This slightly increased size allows the camera to use a more long lasting NP-F570 style battery, which solves one of the biggest issues with the Pocket 4k and 6k cameras. Additionally the high bright LCD screen on the back is now articulated to tilt up or down without costly 3rd party modifications. The camera features 2 mini-XLR inputs for multi channel audio recording. Blackmagic has also introduced mechanical ND filtration built right into the body of the camera, and support for an optional EVF. The new camera also comes with Generation 5 color science, developed for the URSA Mini Pro 12k.
All of the great innovations introduced with the Pocket 6k remain available as well, including BRAW recording in 6k up to 50fps, custom LUTs, recording to multiple media formats, and much more.
In addition to the DaVinci Resolve Studio activation key, the BMPCC 6K Pro comes with a power supply offering simultaneous battery charging, an NP-F570 battery, a lens port cap, and a camera strap.
