Below is a list of videos, shows and movies shot on the Sony VENICE camera system. This is by no means an exhaustive list as many shows do not publicize what camera systems they use in their production.

Top Gun: Maverick

The long awaited sequel to the 1986 “Top Gun” is currently in production and scheduled for a summer 2020 release. The Rialto extension unit is being used extensively on this production for mounting in tight spaces where the full camera body wouldn’t fit.

Avatar 2-5

James Cameron is currently in production for the upcoming installments in the Avatar series. The next film “Avatar 2” is scheduled for release around Christmas 2021.

NBC’s “The Blacklist”

Season 6 of “The Blacklist” currently airing on NBC was shot on Sony VENICE cameras. Prior to season 6, “The Blacklist” was shot on Sony PMW-F55’s.

Santa Clarita Diet

Season 3 of “Santa Clarita Diet” on Netflix used Sony VENICE cameras.

Atypical

The most recent season of “Atypical” on Netflix was shot on Sony VENICE cameras.

The Kominsky Method is set to begin production on season 2 soon and has been shot on Sony VENICE from the beginning.
